Raghava Lawrence has stepped down as director for Laaxmi Bomb

Raghava Lawrence’s wrote his full statement and tagged lead actors Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the post as “Hi dear friends and fans, there is an old popular saying in Tamil that ‘Don’t get into any house where there is no respect’. In this world, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person’s character more than money and fame. So I have decided to step out of the project, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, the Hindi remake of Kanchana. I don’t want to mention the reason because there are multiple reasons, but one of them is that the film’s first look poster was released on today without my knowledge and even without discussing anything with me. It was informed to me by a third person. It seems very painful for a director to know about his movie’s first look release from others. I feel very disrespected and disappointed”.

Raghava Lawrence also added “I can hold back my script because I haven’t signed any agreement regarding this film but I won’t do it because it is not professional. I will give my script to Akshay Kumar sir because I personally respect him a lot”. However, Lawrence remained gracious and wished the crew luck for the rest of the shooting process.
