Bollywood Producers Shailendra Singh and Priya Gupta are all set to bring the life story of Maninderjeet Singh Bitta (M.S. Bitta) on screens. Learn more details about this here.
A film is going to be made on the life of Maninderjeet Singh Bitta also known as M.S. Bitta. He survived an assassination in the mid-1990s and now heads the All India Anti-Terrorist Front. Producers Shailendra Singh and Priya Gupta will be soon working on this film titled “Zinda Shaheed” that will go on floors in the first half of 2020.
M.S. Bitta is an Indian Sikh who has been friends with live bombs ever since he was a kid. He’s one of the few men in the world who can claim to have survived 15 bombs. The first incident happened when he was merely six-years-old and he was bombed when he hoisted the Indian flag at the Golden temple in 1983 taking on terrorist Bhindranwale’s threat of challenging him to not put up the flag.
Well-known film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to share the news with his fans. He posted few pictures of M.S. Bitta along with the producers Shailendra Singh and Priya Gupta and captioned them as: “A biopic on M.S. Bitta… Producers Shailendra Singh and Priya Gupta acquire rights to the life story of M.S. Producer Shailendra Singh said in a statement, that “M.S. Bitta is a living legend and a true patriot. His story deserves to be told and it will inspire us all in these very divisive times. His life story will definitely inspire the 600 million youth of our country. I thank M.S. Bitta for trusting us to tell the story of his life. It will be a game-changer for Bollywood.”
Meanwhile, Priya Gupta said, “MS Bitta’s life is a living example of how you can serve your country without a ‘Kursi’ or a ‘Wardi’. Unlike our great leaders like Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose whom we have not seen but only know through their stories, MS Bitta is a Zinda Shaheed. His life is truly inspiring and we are very proud & excited to be making this film.”
The team was seen earlier today at the Siddhivinayak Temple to kickstart the making of the film.
