The most awaited trailer of Suriya and Mohanlal’s upcoming action thriller, Kaappaan, is out. Watch it now!

Fans of Suriya have been waiting so long for this day to come. Finally, Suriya’s upcoming Tamil movie, ‘Kaappaan’ trailer has been out and it is pretty amazing. The Tamil film, ‘Kaappaan’ is a political action thriller movie which is being directed by K V Anand who has previously worked for many blockbuster movies of south India like Kavan, Maattrraan and Anegan.

Actor Suriya and Mohanlal are working together in the lead roles of the film, which will definitely be a treat to watch. The title of the movie was first announced on 31st December 2018, along with a first look poster. The latest unveiling of the trailer of ‘Kaappaan’, raised the audience’s excitement to the peaks.

The trailer looks action-packed, which features Suriya in four fantastic and different looks and Mohanlal as the Prime Minister of the country flaunting a style similar to that of Modi. It seems that Suriya is playing the role of an NSG commando and Sayyesha is playing the female lead role. Other actors like Arya, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani, are also featured in this trailer. The trailer has gained a huge positive response from the audience.

Mohanlal’s makeover images have already created a buzz in social media. To ensure that he fit into his role in the film, he underwent a lot of training, workouts and yoga sessions. With the trailer released, the audience just can’t wait to know more about the roles. Speaking of the film, Mohanlal said that he was very happy to work in the film with Suriya and Anand.

The film has been written by Pattukkottai Prabhakar and produced by A Subashkaran under his own banner, Lyca Productions. Harris Jayaraj is assigned to compose music for the film and Abhinandan Ramanujan has been roped in as the cinematographer.

This is the third film of K V Anand with Suriya, the first two being Ayan and Maattraan. K V Anand tweeted “#Kaappaan is on a mission to save you” via Twitter. The film is already on the sets and is expected to hit the theatres in August 2019.
