These days some old songs are being remixed. Check out the songs which are remade and became popular in no time.

Bollywood has been spinning songs for a while now, while some remixes make us cringe and wonder why did they have to do IT to the original. While there may be many ear bleeding songs around, a few remakes did seem to work for us. Let’s check out some of the best remakes by Bollywood, that may never be better than the original but definitely get us grooving,

Aankh Marey

If you are a 90’s kid, Aankh Marey was probably your party song. Originally from the movie 1996 ‘Tere mere Sapne’, the song featured lead actors Arshad Warsi and Simran. The song was fairly popular for getting the attention of one’s crush since its remake become a must-have song for a party. The remake was created for the movie ‘Simmba’, featuring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. What made this remake so special was the initial singer ‘Kumar Sanu’s’ melodious voice for a small part that was accompanied by Arshad Warsi dancing on the tunes with the current actors.

Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya

Remade for the movie ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, we can’t help but love this remake for all the right reasons. Honey Singh’s rap, Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha’s energetic performance, combined with the voice of the original singer Hans Raj Hans make you appreciate and swing to this song again and again. This is one remake that definitely got a thumbs up from the audience with more than 300 million views on YouTube so far.

Ek Ladki ko Dekha to Aisa Laga

Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala created magic in the original song, that was from the movie 1942: ‘A Love Story.’ Years later, Sonam Kapoor with Rajkumar Rao come together to create some magic once again, the remake sung by Darshan Raval and Rochak has a mixture of Punjabi and Hindi lyrics, unlike the original that just had Hindi lyrics. The song is soothing to the ears and it is a pleasure seeing Anil Kapoor in snippets. That is some nostalgia hitting hard!

Remember that one song everyone tried dancing on but failed miserably, well that was ‘Urvashi’ for the youth of the ’90s. Sung by Sir A. R. Rahman, the original has beats that instantly make you shake your body to this date. Prabhudeva Sir and his dance have no match but Shahid Kapoor does try his level best in the remake that is sung by Honey Singh that is yet again a perfect party song. The original in here has no competition but the remake is surely not bad either. Just like the lyrics go ‘Urvashi, Urvashi, Take it easy……’

This is one remake that has garnered more than 700 million views combined on 3 videos over YouTube. With another remake made in Arabic, Dilbar remake is all about Nora Fatehi’s dance and the addictive phrase ‘Ab to hosh na Khabar hai, ye kaisa asar hai, tumse milne ke baad Dilbar’. Formerly from the movie ‘Sirf Tum’ the song featured Sushmita Sen in all her glory trying to woo Sanjay Kapoor. The music was enchanting with some crazy composition, and you know the song was great when they make a remake out of it.
