With the Coronavirus Outbreak, several Bollywood Movie releases have been delayed. Some production houses have given another release date and some are waiting to see how the pandemic Carona virus shapes out.  The Novel Coronavirus around the world, many countries announced a complete lockdown to reduce the spread of the Novel Carona virus. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s starrer Sooryavanshi was slated to release on March 24, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the filmmakers have postponed the movie release. Sooryavanshi was a much-awaited action thriller directed by Rohit Shetty and it was predicted to be the biggest Bollywood blockbuster film.

The upcoming film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles again stays delayed. The film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar was directed by Dibaker Banerjee and produced by Yash Raj Films was scheduled to release on the 20th of March. By seeing the recent COVID-19 outbreak filmmakers have opted to shift the release date to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus.

Bollywood Movies Delayed Due to COVID-19

Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film Haathi Mere Saathi was scheduled to have a nationwide release on April 2 in Hindi, Tamil(Kaadan ) and Telugu(Aranya ) but due to the coronavirus outbreak across the country, it has been postponed. The film was directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by  Eros International and this film was an official remake of Rajesh Khanna’s 1971 classic film Haathi Mere Saathi.

The upcoming release of Rohena Gera’s feature film Is Love Enough? SIR has been postponed owing to the coronavirus outbreak. Tillotama Shome and Vivek Gomber starrer romance film SIR was initially scheduled to release on March 20 but the filmmakers decided to postpone the release date for the safety of the audience. 


Bollywood Movies Delayed Due to COVID-19

Multi Starrer Film 83 has also been delayed because of the Coronavirus scare. Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone plays the lead role and this movie 83 is going to release in three languages Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Kabir Khan’s highly-awaited sports drama was scheduled to release on the 10th of April but due to the Carona outbreak it was postponed and the new release date is still unknown.
