During the lockdown period, the Marathi Industry was creating awareness and educating fans on how to deal with the deadly coronavirus pandemic. They advised people not to get panic about the spread of the Novel Carona Outbreak around the world on social media platforms and WhatsApp forward messages and keep your mind calm. 

Marathi Film Actors Make a Video To Educate People About COVID-19

Marathi actors and directors have communicated through a three-and-a-half-minute video about the facts and information regarding the Caronavirus outbreak. The video starts with the coronavirus news clippings to inform the people about the current situation taking place in the world and artists make an appeal to the audience to stay at home and be healthy. They also advised some dos and don’ts amidst the Novel Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.

This video was shared by actor Swwapnil Joshi on his Instagram page. The video features artists like Swwapnil Joshi, Sonalee Kulkarni, Bharat Jadhav, Ravi Jadhav, Siddharth Jadhav, Tejaswini Pandit, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sai Tamhankar, Amey Wagh, Jitendra Joshi, Avadhoot Gupte, Prasad Oak, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Ankush Chaudhari, Mukta Barve, Subodh Bhave and, last but not the least, Sachin Pilgaonkar.

The video talks about the importance of staying hygiene at homes, washing hands for 20 sec with hand wash, soap or Sanitizer and maintaining social distance.  They also advised the people not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth if your hands are unclean. If the person is having symptoms like cold and cough he/she must wear a face mask and stay self-isolate from others. The artistes also told the people to consult a doctor if one catches a cold or has a cough and to pay special attention to the young ones and the elderly. To combat Carona outbreak Artists urged people to ensure basic cleanliness, eat healthy food and, most importantly, stay at home as far as possible.

Actress Mukta clears confusion related to the epidemic and highlighted that due to misinformation, people have abandoned their pets.  I request people not to abandon them as the COVID-19 doesn’t spread through pets. Amey Wagh said he had recently returned home from abroad and hence quarantined himself and will be remaining at home in the coming days.
