Vivek Oberoi has pledged to take care of nine families by following the PM Narendra Modi initiative to take care of others during the 21-day lockdown in order to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
By following the request made by Prime Minister in his speech, Vivek Oberoi responded and mentioned in a tweet that he is delighted to take part in this initiative. Vivek Oberoi also proceeded to urge his followers on social media that this is the time people need to be with each other and stand united. He advised the people to do the same in whatever way they can in order to reduce the Novel Carona outbreak.
Vivek Oberoi said in a tweet that “Time to be there for each other, time to be united! I have followed the words of Narendra Modi’s pledge and decided to take care of 9 families during these 21 days Lockdown! Urge each one of you to do your bit too and I look forward to seeing how you’re all doing whatever best you can.”
While the country is entering into a total 21 lockdown period many Bollywood, Tollywood and TV celebrities have come forward to do their best for the people who are in need during this time of crisis. Our Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has come forward and pledged to contribute Rs 25 crore to PM-CARES fund to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Comedy king Kapil Sharma also announced a donation of Rs 50 lakh to the PM relief fund. Bahubali star Prabhas has donated an amount of Rs 3 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and Rs 50 Lakhs to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s relief fund. Many Tollywood stars Pawan Kalyan has donated Rs 2 crore, Mahesh Babu donated Rs 1 crore, Ram Charan donated Rs 70 lakh to the government’s relief fund towards the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. Mahesh Babu also donated Rs 25 lakh for the TFI workers.

Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has provided financial support of Rs 20 lakh and provided N95 masks to the people who are working as BMC workers and caretakers for the corona affected patients.
